Our daughter has been under the care of Dr. Hargrave since her birth. We like his great sense of humor, and he consistently eases our concerns by addressing all our inquiries. Despite the distance from our home, we’re more than willing to make the drive because we believe that Dr. Hargrave is exceptional.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Gonzalez since we moved to Austin when he was around 9 months old (he’s now 3-1/4). We really like this practice, and Dr. Gonzalez in particular. I selected her because she and her husband adopted their three boys, and my partner and I also adopted our son. I didn’t feel my son needed a doctor experienced in adoption, but it was a characteristic that distinguished her and I felt made her a particularly good fit for our son/family. Dr. Gonzalez has an easygoing manner and seldom seems rushed. Even when I can tell she’s having a very busy day, she still focuses on my son during his appointment. She shares information and makes recommendations but doesn’t push. She is warm and caring with my son. She’s never seemed surprised or disconcerted by our being a two-mom family. My son doesn’t have many medical issues, but if he did, I know she could handle it. We’re very pleased with this practice in general.

We love Dr. Mirrop! He has an excellent calming and playful demeanor with kids. He takes time to fully explain things to adults. He is very thorough. I have total and complete confidence in him. As a mom of 3 under the age of 6 we spend a lot of time at Pediatrics Associates of Austin. I am always blown away by the friendly staff and knowledge doctors who never rush me, but patiently answer all my questions. Over the last six years we have seen all the Dr and can not say enough good things about each one of them. Our primary doctor is Dr. Hargrave who is so calm and wonderful with young children, so much so that my 3 year old loves him so much, she invited him over to play with her at our house! From their great hours, friendly nurses and staff, I can not say enough good things about this Doctor office. We love it!

We always have great staff support, from the booking and front desk experience to the doctors, nurses and technicians. We love the environment and team and our boys always look forward to their visit.

We love Dr. Gonzalez! Even after moving to Georgetown we still take all three of our kiddos to see her. The staff is always friendly and helpful when we call or visit the office. We have never had to wait in the waiting room, they are generally calling us back as we are signing in. Their office even offers an after hours clinic for those of us that can’t always miss work to get the kids in for a visit during the day.

My children see Dr. Hargrave. My daughter has been a patient for 10 years. She started seeing him from birth. I attended a parenting class that he spoke at and loved his sense of humor and personality. My daughter has seen every doctor in the practice over the years and they are all good. We appreciate the option of seeing another when Dr. Hargrave is fully booked. After she started daycare, she was sick for months on end and we appreciated the on-site lab, nurse line, and after hours clinic. We no longer live close to this practice, however, after having my late in life baby, there is nowhere else I would consider taking him. I feel comfortable with the advice given and love the conveniences that are provided.

Five stars for Dr. Mirrop. He is caring and very intelligent and can be playful and entertaining with my twin little boys at the same time as performing a physical examination and finding out exactly what he needs to. They are not fearful of going to the doctor and seem to almost enjoy it- they love the Star Wars rooms and we look at and talk about the collectors items on the wall. Before you know it there is the doctor! I am a physician here in Austin and did my pediatrics rotation in med school with Dr. Mirrop and PAA! They are top notch and have consistently had a great reputation in Austin for many years. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love Dr. Gonzalez! As first time parents, we had a lot of questions over the last year. Dr. Gonzalez and her team are always friendly and caring (and patient) with us and our son.

This is a great practice with wonderful doctors! We love Dr. Gonzalez and her calm, down to earth care. She’s easy to talk to and personable. All of the staff are very kind and the office is very nice. They are easy to get ahold of and are able to care for any and all needs.

Dr. Hargrave is such a smart, fabulous Dr. He has been seeing my kids for past 12 years. My kids actually ask to go to the Dr, he’s engaging and listens to parents concerns and then addresses them. I went to this practice as a child myself and it was great then too. The after hours and in house lab are a wonderful asset. He truly cares about his patients and it shows. Highly recommend them, the location is not close to us but I gladly drive it, wont ever change from this group.

We love PAA! Dr. Mirrop is such a lovely pediatrician. He really cares and takes time with both of my boys and makes them feel happy. He cares about the parents, the children, and everyones well-being. The nurses and other doctors are all wonderful and they have a great practice! I love the after hours availability and the general philosophy and feel of the office.

As always Dr Hargrave gave excellent medical advice with a smile and great humor that always keeps my children at ease. Explaining things in details we could all understand.

This group is so wonderful, competent, and caring. My children, who are now 19 and 20, have been coming to this practice since they were toddlers. My college-aged son just had his well-check with Dr. Hargrave. I always know we are in good hands here.

Dr. Hargrave has always offered our family the support we’ve needed as a homeschool family. My two daughters have been with him since the age of four, and newborn. We could not ask for better care, attention, and compasion.

My daughters have been with Pediatrics Associates since babies, and now that we are leaving the Austin area we have chosen to continue traveling four hours in order to continue being with Dr. Hargrave; need say more.

As a mother of three young boys, Dr. Gonzalez knows the worries that kids experience when it comes to doctor visits, shots, etc. And, she knows the concerns parents have when it comes to vaccines, etc. She has a beautiful way of combining professionalism with compassion. We love her!

We are new to Pediatric Associates and were referred through our pediatrician who retired. My 5 year old son was sick and after talking with the nurse they recommended we come in to see a doctor. They were able to get us in for an appointment the same afternoon. The staff, nurses, and Dr. were all wonderful. My son loved Dr. Mirrop. He has a great way demeanor with children. He has a love of Star Wars (as does my son) and took the time (at the end of the day) to show my son all the cool Star Wars memorabilia they have in the different exam rooms. It’s quite impressive. Dr. Mirrop was also kind enough to provide some sample of the cough medicine he suggested and offered some suggestions if my younger son developed any similar symptoms. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, considering we were there due to the flu.

When we had our first child we lived in Austin and chose Dr. Hargrave as our pediatrician. Even after relocating an hour and half away, we still make the drive because of the quality of service and the entire PA family. They are worth the drive.

I love this place! Mopac is always bad but I’ll take that traffic to keep my kids here. I’ve seen almost all the doctors for various reasons and multiple kids and I’ve always left feeling appreciative as a parent, overly satisfied with my kids care and important. Truly these doctors and staff are top notch.

My son is a new patient to the practice and this was the first time we met Dr. Hargrave. We both had a great experience. My son is 15 and Dr. Hargrave communicated directly with him and made him feel like he was the patient. He was very friendly and funny while being knowledgeable at the same time. It was great to see my son laugh a few times even as teenagers can be pretty grumpy.

We found our physician to be very nice and diagnosed a double ear infection very quickly. I didn’t like having to call the office 4 times in order to book an appt that would fit our needs. Because it was a Saturday, they’d only offer the next available appt and nothing else. Seems kind of silly to me. I also wasn’t impressed that I had to wait 20-25 minutes in the waiting room after my appt time.

Dr Sanford has been great with Luke. Very thorough and helpful.

My 4 year old LOVES Dr. Mirrop! He actually laughs when Dr. Mirrop is checking his ears and listening to his lungs. When my son gives him a high five, Dr. Mirrop scoots backwards really fast on his stool and tells my son how strong he is. He really makes going to doctor something fun and not scary. I would recommend him to everyone!

As a first time mom, I wasn’t sure what to expect but Dr. Gonzalez and the rest of the staff were fantastic and put me at ease.

We feel so lucky to have Dr. Hargrave for our 3 boys. He is simply amazing!! You can tell he truly LOVES children and LOVES his job. He has incredible manner with both parents and children, and while joking around and making my son laugh, he also found a way to interject about the importance of trying new foods and eating healthy!!! As for the rest of the office, we have seen Dr. Mirrop in the past when our doctor was out, and he too was incredible. The front desk staff was welcoming, sweet, and professional. The office is bright and welcoming, and the doctors have spent many years collecting all kinds of cool collectibles and each have decorated each of the patient rooms with so much care and fun! Space, Star Wars, Legos, Harry Potter, Disney….their rooms are a perfect way to entertain and delight children (and parents alike!) We feel lucky to have found this practice and Dr. Hargraves!

Always a great experience with Dr. Sanford. She never rushes, and allows me to get through my questions and provides answers and reassurance. The wait time was a little longer than usual at our last visit, but you can’t help their growing practice due to such exceptional care.

Thorough and kind.

Dr. Sanford was extremely thorough and friendly for my daughter’s visit. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was a longer than usual wait time. When we quickly got an appointment, I thought it might me a fairly open schedule for the day. It turned out to be a very busy day for the office.

I want to give her 1 star so that we can keep her as our little secret! This was our 1st apmt with Dr. Gonzalez as we just moved to the area & needed a new Pediatrician for our 19 month old son. She was awesome & he loved her!! She was quick in doing the things that he wasn’t going to love (like looking in his ears) but spent a generous amount of time with us answering all of our questions & discussing our concerns. We arrived exactly on time for our appointment but then had to wait in the room for 30+ minutes to see the doctor but, the appointment went so well that it made the wait well worth it! Our experience with the practice has been great! We did have to go in a few weeks ago for a sick visit & saw a different doctor who was also great! The staff, the rooms, everything has all been 5 stars!

As usual Dr. Gonzales and the team were exceptionally professional and super sweet to the little patient!

We love Dr. Mirrop and the entire staff! Dr. Mirrop spent over 25 minutes with me today answering my questions and providing invaluable insight. I never felt rushed at any point during our appointment. Dr. Mirrop brings an incredible insight and participates with other specialists so he can provide his patients with the most up to date medical knowledge. I can’t recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Hargrave is great!! He is very patient and listens carefully to his patients. He jokes with the kids and makes them feel comfortable.

Finally got to our very overdue well checks today (thanks Covid) and Dr. Sanford and everyone we interacted with today was wonderful! It’s not easy seeing a family of five all at once! We appreciate all the extra efforts put in place to make our visit safe and efficient.

We met Doctor Sanford for the first time today and she was very welcoming and patient with us. She explained everything carefully and was very nice with our daughter. I highly recommend Doctor Sanford.

Dr. K was attuned and playful with my 4 year old, but also took time to explain her thoughts in detail to me. She answered all my questions and left my kid smiling.

We’ve been at Pediatric Associates with Dr. Mirrop for a little over 5 years now and we couldn’t be happier. He is so amazing with our son and the rest of the staff is wonderful when we have seen them for emergency visits. They are doing a great job during Covid as well! We had a tele-med appointment this week that went very smoothly. Thanks for always taking the best care of our little one.

We’ve been seeing her for the last few weeks after our first son was born and we couldn’t be happier with our Pediatrician. 🙂 She’s so knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and most of all provides outstanding patient care! She takes the time to listen, answers all the questions new parents could ever think of and always does it with a smile on her face. We love the fact that our appointments always start on time, we have a room already chosen for us prior to our arrival (the coolest patient rooms ever) and that our checkup visits our isolated from the sick patients. We feel really lucky we found Dr. Sanford and all the great staff members at Austin Pediatric Associates of Austin! The doctors are all great. However you can expect to wait for 30 minutes or more past your appointment time at every single visit-for a well check or otherwise.
