Our daughter has been under the care of Dr. Hargrave since her birth. We like his great sense of humor, and he consistently eases our concerns by addressing all our inquiries. Despite the distance from our home, we’re more than willing to make the drive because we believe that Dr. Hargrave is exceptional.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Gonzalez since we moved to Austin when he was around 9 months old (he’s now 3-1/4). We really like this practice, and Dr. Gonzalez in particular. I selected her because she and her husband adopted their three boys, and my partner and I also adopted our son. I didn’t feel my son needed a doctor experienced in adoption, but it was a characteristic that distinguished her and I felt made her a particularly good fit for our son/family. Dr. Gonzalez has an easygoing manner and seldom seems rushed. Even when I can tell she’s having a very busy day, she still focuses on my son during his appointment. She shares information and makes recommendations but doesn’t push. She is warm and caring with my son. She’s never seemed surprised or disconcerted by our being a two-mom family. My son doesn’t have many medical issues, but if he did, I know she could handle it. We’re very pleased with this practice in general.
We love Dr. Mirrop! He has an excellent calming and playful demeanor with kids. He takes time to fully explain things to adults. He is very thorough. I have total and complete confidence in him. As a mom of 3 under the age of 6 we spend a lot of time at Pediatrics Associates of Austin. I am always blown away by the friendly staff and knowledge doctors who never rush me, but patiently answer all my questions. Over the last six years we have seen all the Dr and can not say enough good things about each one of them. Our primary doctor is Dr. Hargrave who is so calm and wonderful with young children, so much so that my 3 year old loves him so much, she invited him over to play with her at our house! From their great hours, friendly nurses and staff, I can not say enough good things about this Doctor office. We love it!
We always have great staff support, from the booking and front desk experience to the doctors, nurses and technicians. We love the environment and team and our boys always look forward to their visit.
We love Dr. Gonzalez! Even after moving to Georgetown we still take all three of our kiddos to see her. The staff is always friendly and helpful when we call or visit the office. We have never had to wait in the waiting room, they are generally calling us back as we are signing in. Their office even offers an after hours clinic for those of us that can’t always miss work to get the kids in for a visit during the day.
My children see Dr. Hargrave. My daughter has been a patient for 10 years. She started seeing him from birth. I attended a parenting class that he spoke at and loved his sense of humor and personality. My daughter has seen every doctor in the practice over the years and they are all good. We appreciate the option of seeing another when Dr. Hargrave is fully booked. After she started daycare, she was sick for months on end and we appreciated the on-site lab, nurse line, and after hours clinic. We no longer live close to this practice, however, after having my late in life baby, there is nowhere else I would consider taking him. I feel comfortable with the advice given and love the conveniences that are provided.
Five stars for Dr. Mirrop. He is caring and very intelligent and can be playful and entertaining with my twin little boys at the same time as performing a physical examination and finding out exactly what he needs to. They are not fearful of going to the doctor and seem to almost enjoy it- they love the Star Wars rooms and we look at and talk about the collectors items on the wall. Before you know it there is the doctor! I am a physician here in Austin and did my pediatrics rotation in med school with Dr. Mirrop and PAA! They are top notch and have consistently had a great reputation in Austin for many years. Highly recommend!
We absolutely love Dr. Gonzalez! As first time parents, we had a lot of questions over the last year. Dr. Gonzalez and her team are always friendly and caring (and patient) with us and our son.
This is a great practice with wonderful doctors! We love Dr. Gonzalez and her calm, down to earth care. She’s easy to talk to and personable. All of the staff are very kind and the office is very nice. They are easy to get ahold of and are able to care for any and all needs.
Dr. Hargrave is such a smart, fabulous Dr. He has been seeing my kids for past 12 years. My kids actually ask to go to the Dr, he’s engaging and listens to parents concerns and then addresses them. I went to this practice as a child myself and it was great then too. The after hours and in house lab are a wonderful asset. He truly cares about his patients and it shows. Highly recommend them, the location is not close to us but I gladly drive it, wont ever change from this group.
We love PAA! Dr. Mirrop is such a lovely pediatrician. He really cares and takes time with both of my boys and makes them feel happy. He cares about the parents, the children, and everyones well-being. The nurses and other doctors are all wonderful and they have a great practice! This group is so wonderful, competent, and caring. My children, who are now 19 and 20, have been coming to this practice since they were toddlers. My college-aged son just had his well-check with Dr. Hargrave. I always know we are in good hands here.
Dr. Hargrave has always offered our family the support we’ve needed as a homeschool family. My two daughters have been with him since the age of four, and newborn. We could not ask for better care, attention, and compasion.
My daughters have been with Pediatrics Associates since babies, and now that we are leaving the Austin area we have chosen to continue traveling four hours in order to continue being with Dr. Hargrave; need say more.

As a mother of three young boys, Dr. Gonzalez knows the worries that kids experience when it comes to doctor visits, shots, etc. And, she knows the concerns parents have when it comes to vaccines, etc. She has a beautiful way of combining professionalism with compassion. We love her!

We are new to Pediatric Associates and were referred through our pediatrician who retired. My 5 year old son was sick and after talking with the nurse they recommended we come in to see a doctor. They were able to get us in for an appointment the same afternoon. The staff, nurses, and Dr. were all wonderful. My son loved Dr. Mirrop. He has a great way demeanor with children. He has a love of Star Wars (as does my son) and took the time (at the end of the day) to show my son all the cool Star Wars memorabilia they have in the different exam rooms. It’s quite impressive. Dr. Mirrop was also kind enough to provide some sample of the cough medicine he suggested and offered some suggestions if my younger son developed any similar symptoms. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, considering we were there due to the flu.
When we had our first child we lived in Austin and chose Dr. Hargrave as our pediatrician. Even after relocating an hour and half away, we still make the drive because of the quality of service and the entire PA family. They are worth the drive.
I love this place! Mopac is always bad but I’ll take that traffic to keep my kids here. I’ve seen almost all the doctors for various reasons and multiple kids and I’ve always left feeling appreciative as a parent, overly satisfied with my kids care and important. Truly these doctors and staff are top notch.

My son is a new patient to the practice and this was the first time we met Dr. Hargrave. We both had a great experience. My son is 15 and Dr. Hargrave communicated directly with him and made him feel like he was the patient. He was very friendly and funny while being knowledgeable at the same time. It was great to see my son laugh a few times even as teenagers can be pretty grumpy.

We found our physician to be very nice and diagnosed a double ear infection very quickly. I didn’t like having to call the office 4 times in order to book an appt that would fit our needs. Because it was a Saturday, they’d only offer the next available appt and nothing else. Seems kind of silly to me. I also wasn’t impressed that I had to wait 20-25 minutes in the waiting room after my appt time.

My 4 year old LOVES Dr. Mirrop! He actually laughs when Dr. Mirrop is checking his ears and listening to his lungs. When my son gives him a high five, Dr. Mirrop scoots backwards really fast on his stool and tells my son how strong he is. He really makes going to doctor something fun and not scary. I would recommend him to everyone!

As a first time mom, I wasn’t sure what to expect but Dr. Gonzalez and the rest of the staff were fantastic and put me at ease.
We feel so lucky to have Dr. Hargrave for our 3 boys. He is simply amazing!! You can tell he truly LOVES children and LOVES his job. He has incredible manner with both parents and children, and while joking around and making my son laugh, he also found a way to interject about the importance of trying new foods and eating healthy!!! As for the rest of the office, we have seen Dr. Mirrop in the past when our doctor was out, and he too was incredible. The front desk staff was welcoming, sweet, and professional. The office is bright and welcoming, and the doctors have spent many years collecting all kinds of cool collectibles and each have decorated each of the patient rooms with so much care and fun! Space, Star Wars, Legos, Harry Potter, Disney….their rooms are a perfect way to entertain and delight children (and parents alike!) We feel lucky to have found this practice and Dr. Hargraves!

Dr. Sanford was extremely thorough and friendly for my daughter’s visit. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was a longer than usual wait time. When we quickly got an appointment, I thought it might me a fairly open schedule for the day. It turned out to be a very busy day for the office.
I want to give her 1 star so that we can keep her as our little secret! This was our 1st apmt with Dr. Gonzalez as we just moved to the area & needed a new Pediatrician for our 19 month old son. She was awesome & he loved her!! She was quick in doing the things that he wasn’t going to love (like looking in his ears) but spent a generous amount of time with us answering all of our questions & discussing our concerns. We arrived exactly on time for our appointment but then had to wait in the room for 30+ minutes to see the doctor but, the appointment went so well that it made the wait well worth it! Our experience with the practice has been great! We did have to go in a few weeks ago for a sick visit & saw a different doctor who was also great! The staff, the rooms, everything has all been 5 stars!

I love Dr Kasbarian and all the nurses. I so appreciate how the staff is caring, calm and kind during these crazy times. I also appreciate how attentive and hard working the front desk staff is at handling this high stress moment of covid & other sicknesses. Truly, I feel that my children are taken care of and their wellness and health is in good hands. All this being said, I had a rather negative experience in the waiting room today. You see, I spend all day every day trying to keep my unvaccinated children socially distanced from others, especially those who dont wear masks. So you can imagine the stress and panic I felt in having to wait in the waiting area with other families, some of whom have little ones too small for masks and one who was definitely coughing unmasked. Although I shared my concerns for Covid and having my unvaccinated toddler in the office with hand foot and mouth, the nurse was 30 min late. So we were sitting in a room for 30 min for a checkup that took 5 min. I also asked for telehealth and was denied that option.

As a new first-time mom I’m always worried I’ve done something wrong or messed up, and Nurse Emily made me feel so much better. She made me aware of what’s normal and also told me what to look out for. I appreciate that the doctors and nurses at PAA are teaching me while taking care of my son. For example I brought my son in for a lost voice and Nurse Emily played different sound clips of coughs so I would be on the look for more serious situations in the future. That is a gift. We love PAA and couldn’t recommend this practice or Nurse Emily’s care more highly.

We were in for allergy testing (with pediatric associates) and it was so easy to schedule (got an appt the next week). Emily was wonderful! She explained the procedure to my son so he knew what to expect. Afterwards, Emily reviewed results. The allergy testing was so quick (and painless). I’m planning to bring my other son in for the same testing soon. I highly recommend allergy testing at PAA!

Dr Mirrop is a very caring, approachable pediatrician! He always replies to all of our questions and checks in front of us any concern such as: stomach upset, ear infections, joints, eyes, and talks to us on detail about our baby’s development.
The nurse practitioner was patient and thorough. She actually found out that my son has a bacterial infection on top of his viral infection and prescribed much needed antibiotics.

Lauren was incredibly patient with my son who has anxiety at the doctors. We’ll try to see her from now on. She was calm, straightforward, and let him figure out a method for getting a strep swab that worked for him. Grateful she joined the team!
I love PAA and the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the practice. There’s a lab on site, after hours clinic, and weekend clinics. Most importantly, I feel that the doctors take their time to provide quality care to my children. We have seen Dr. Gonzalez for a few years and she is great with kids and parents! We love Dr. G.
We have seen Dr. Gnagi twice now for sick visits and both times enjoyed his east going demeanor. He gets you in and out quickly, listens to the problem assesses and gets right to the punch with how to tackle the issue. He is a great addition to the PAA practice.
Nurse Emily did a great job making Isadora feel comfortable during the exam and found the problem right away. The only issue was the staff didn’t realize we had already signed in and we’re waiting in the lobby, so they had to call me on the phone to check if I was coming and it work a bit long to see the nurse.

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. We typically see Dr. Hargrave who is remarkable however today we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gnagi for our acute issue. He was knowledgeable and our son was very comfortable with him even when he wasn’t feeling well. We were in and out in 30 min.

Dr. Martino was a good communicator. She seemed very concerned about my son and his illness, but almost alarming. It struck me because I thought pediatricians usually see sick children? She was very kind and thoughtful, but instead of experiencing empathy during the appointment, it felt more alarming like my son was going to have a hard time feeling better. She kept telling him he looked so sick. Less than 12 hrs later, he was almost back to normal. Okay experience overall.

I LOVE Dr. Mirrop! He is aiways SO excited to see the kids and makes our baby laugh and smile. He genuinely gets happy when he sees she’s progressing well. And the staff is AMAZING! Our baby just learned to stick out her tongue, so when we exited the room and walked down the hall the whole staff was waving, clapping, and sticking out there tongues at her. LOL! She loved it. I love this place. We plan on continuing here for years to come. 🙂

Dr. Gnagi was wonderful! He isn’t our primary provider but he was very kind and reassuring to a worried mama with two sick little babes. My 2.5 year old warmed right up to him too! He made it so fun for her 🙂 She even told me “mama, I need to go back to the doctor” the next day when she still wasn’t feeling 100%. I have lived every visit with Dr. Mirrop. My daughter LOVES him. He is the sweetest man and a wonderful Pediatrician. His staff are all AWESOME, so sweet and attentive. I honestly feel so blessed that we found him.
Appt was at 1030am. We checked in at 1020 but weren’t seen until nearly 1130am. Just getting to know Dr Martino – very engaged doctor! I could imagine that she may run late with the amount of time she spends with patients so just something to note for future scheduling. One other piece of feedback – we sometimes felt like she was talking a bit more than listening and rolling over our input.
Dr. Gonzalez has been great with my little one! We’ve only had a couple of visits but she is reassuring, full of information, and great with our new baby.
My child has been going to Dr. Mirrop for 13 years and we have always appreciated his knowledge, care and fun way he works with children.

Very quick response and great at addressing concerns.
For my son’s well check today, I was surprised that there was extremely little evaluation on Dr. Gnagi’s part to see if certain milestones are met, etc. Our previous pediatrician took the time to talk to not only my sons but to ask me questions about their progress. When prompted to evaluate more in depth, he just told me that developmental pediatricians would be more informed. In general, I have noticed that our visits with Dr. Gnagi are extremely short, almost to the point where I wonder why we should come in. Additionally, he did not take my son’s blood pressure even after the medical assistant informed him that the machine she used wasn’t working. Another medical assistant did it manually before we left. I really value have access to this practice; however, I cannot help but feel a little disappointed by today’s visit.
We met with Dr Sandford for an annual checkup including two booster shots. She was so friendly and helped with the needle anxiety so it was quick and easy.
