Emily Woodard, MSN, APRN, CPNP, truly enjoys working with children and their families at Pediatric Associates of Austin. Education plays an important role in Mrs. Woodard’s path to understanding nursing’s role in a child’s medical care. She began her studies at Texas A&M University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas and eventually becoming a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
Mrs. Woodard has a diverse background as a nurse, including 10 years at a school-based clinic in Del Valle, 3 years at Child Incorporated in Austin, as well as 2 years at the University of Texas School of Nursing.
For many years, she has been working with the incredible children and their families at Pediatric Associates of Austin and thoroughly enjoys the diverse experiences she comes across each and every day.
When she’s not delivering exceptional care in her role as a nurse, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and their remarkable teenage step-son. She also loves to stay active, enjoying discovering unique things and taking part in adventures–traveling, mission trips, refinishing furniture and antique shopping
