Emma earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2011 and began her career as a critical care nurse at Dell Children’s Medical Center. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner ever since.
Over the years, Emma has gained experience in many different areas of pediatric care, including the pediatric hospital medical/surgical unit and the pediatric emergency department. She is thankful to now be part of the wonderful team at PAA, where her role includes diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, disease prevention, and education. In addition to seeing patients, Emma is also involved in process improvement projects within the practice. Being bilingual in Spanish allows her to connect more deeply with families and provide inclusive, supportive care.
Emma is married with two young boys who keep her busy and on her toes. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, reading, and volunteering at her children’s school. Most of all, she loves spending time with her family and watching her boys grow.
