About Dr. Brandi Loomis

Dr. Brandi Loomis brings a truly unique perspective to the Pediatric Associates of Austin Family. She enjoys caring for patients in Tarrytown, Rosedale and other parts of Austin, Texas and surrounding communities. Dr. Loomis is not only respected for her medical knowledge, but she is one of few, if not the only, pediatricians in Austin who has served in the White House.

Although she is a pediatrician, Dr. Loomis started her education with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University. Prior to entering medicine, Dr. Loomis served as an intern in the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. This unique experience gives Dr. Loomis a perspective that few pediatricians have time to consider. She’s not only interested in treating individual patients, but she’s also passionate about making positive changes on a broader scale.

Dr. Loomis earned her medical degree from The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences where she completed the Integrative Medicine Tract Program. After medical school and service in the White House in the nation’s capital, she came back to home state of Texas to finish her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern’s program at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Today, Dr. Loomis is a board-certified pediatrician that is highly respected and cherished in the community. She remains involved in pediatric educational initiatives and advocacy programs, and she stays current with pediatric legislative changes. Currently, Dr. Loomis is a participating member of the Texas Pediatric Society, and she also supports medical missions.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Loomis enjoys spending time with her husband, Evan, and their two young children. Dr. Loomis and Evan are members of Providence Church, and they enjoy scuba diving, nutrition, reading, and running.
